Hi, I’m Mike Chouinard.

I’m a husband, father, and proud Marine Corps veteran. My career has been in refinery operations, where I’ve learned the value of discipline, reliability, and leadership. Those lessons—and the mindset I carried from my time in the Marines—shape everything I do, including the way I approach woodworking.
I started Delmae’s Workshop as a way to combine my love of working with my hands with my desire to build things that last. The name honors family members who left a strong mark on my life, and every piece I make carries that same sense of legacy.
Woodworking is also family for me. I cook with my kids, build with my own two hands, and think about how the things I create will live in someone’s home for years to come. From custom credenzas to charred-oak whiskey tumblers, my focus is on making items that feel personal, functional, and built to stand the test of time.
If you choose something from Delmae’s Workshop, you’re not just buying wood and finish. You’re getting a piece of my story—crafted with pride, care, and the same attention to detail I bring to my work, my family, and my service.
